DETRAN – SP

DETRAN - SP is the State Department of Transit of São Paulo that is responsible for promoting traffic education, providing qualification and documentation to direct and provide documentation and services related to vehicles.

Detran challenge was to connect the 342 municipalities of the state of São Paulo in order to generate greater service speed and reduce telephony costs

What was the solution presented?

3CORP in partnership with Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise presented an IP telephony and unified communications solution. This way, Detran-SP communicates based on a centralized technology. All in all, there are 4,060 extensions, including IP handsets and softphones, plus mobility.

In addition to this solution, 3CORP has made available 2 residents who are available to the customer attending all incidents that may occur in the entire state of São Paulo.

Today, 100% of the project is implemented, the satisfied customer and the different units of the Detran-SP communicate based on a unique and centralized technology. There is no more communication problem and all CIRETRANS, for the accomplishment of their services, speak through an Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise solution.
