The Public Ministry of the State of Rio de Janeiro had a quantity of 459 (four hundred and fifty-nine) switches, a number that was insufficient to serve the new locations. In addition to the scenario above, it should be noted that the last acquisition of such goods occurred in 2010, so that 95% (ninety-five percent) of the equipment is more than 09 (nine) years old and is without warranty and support, characterizing them as obsolete and discontinued, considering that the network assets suffer a natural depreciation process.

The project aimed at acquiring services and equipment to modernize and improve the provision of local network services, which materializes with the new demand for the purchase of switches, as well as the contracting of technical support and installation services. Among the results obtained by the client with this solution, the following stand out: With the replacement of switches, which play a fundamental role in a network, the Public Ministry of the State of Rio de Janeiro - MPE RJ modernized its network, which brought more flexibility, more capacity, better connectivity and agility to connect devices who share information and data.
